Our client is a multinational banking and financial services corporation.
Assist the AML KYC Analyst with the following tasks:
Collation of all appropriate documents for the onboarding or review of corporate and individual customers.
Risk classifying customers in accordance with the Group’s CRAM approach (for corporate customers this will be high [two levels], medium and low) including preparation of the EDD template and CDDM Report to Compliance for approval: this is includes scanning of supporting source documents so they can be viewed electronically.
Ensure that beneficial ownership is clearly established with documentary evidential supports
Ensure for high risk customers, such as PEPs, SOF/SOW has been adequately established and corroborated in line with requirements and guidelines provided.
Conduct all necessary name screening and deal with hits accordingly.
Conduct web-based research to identify any material adverse news.
Liaise promptly with RMs to address any documentation / information anomalies.
Prepare the appropriate template for signature of all necessary bank officials (CRA, CSR, and Matrix form)
Apply to Division for approval of high-risk customers in line with prevailing approval matrix
GCIF data input sheets will be populated by CDDM team based on the source documents presented.
Maintenance of the High Risk and Medium Risk and Low Risk customer register.
Organise an effective diary system for prompt periodic customer CDD reviews.
Ad-Hoc tasks given by Senior AML/KYC Analyst and/or Head of Compliance and/or Compliance Officer.
Upkeeping/Maintaining Triggering Event Register including scanning source documents where relevant
Upkeeping/ Maintaining CDDM Chaser spread sheet
Assessment of Name screening hits (Net Reveal) for Corporate Banking and Account Services as maker and obtain the approvals as appropriate.
Assist Senior Analyst to keep CDDM Manual up-to-date.
Assist Senior Analyst for CDD related system implementations.
Be able to assist in responding to ad-hoc requests on a timely basis.
Relevant work experience within KYC/CDD function and dealing with customer on-boarding and reviews.
Good understanding and working knowledge of AML/CFT, Sanctions risks.
Good understanding of the banking/financial products.
Good communication skills in order to communicate with employees at all levels especially Relationship Managers.
Ability to organize work effectively and to meet deadlines.
