Onboard low, medium and high-risk FX & money remittance clients
Ensuring Anti-Money Laundering legislation and Customer Due Diligence requirements are met
Complete Know Your Customer due diligence, including Politically Exposed Persons and Adverse Media screening
Respond to ad hoc query reviews in a timely and professional manner
Manage and update client files, ensuring up to date and accurate records
Assist with client management to ensure the smooth operation of accounts and enhanced Due Diligence is updated and maintained where appropriate
Assist with client onboarding, ensuring relevant policies are up to date
Provide onboarding support and complete all general queries to support the Account Management team
Experienced in dealing with higher risk customers, products, and jurisdictions and in working with front office and business areas.
Carrying out simplified and enhanced due diligence, covering matters such as source of wealth, verification of beneficial ownership and ensuring timely review of all high risk and medium risk accounts on an ongoing basis.
Liaise with account mangers (AM), back office and front staff with regards to accounts opening. Escalation of potential matches as appropriate and liaising with the Compliance team.
Participating in the development, testing and implementation of new and enhanced systems and processes.
Build and maintain professional relationships with business functions to ensure effective co- operation, communication, and seek opportunity to promote higher regulatory standards and awareness.
Ensuring Know Your Customer policies and procedures are adhered to including reviewing all new account applications and profiles; AML/KYC Remediation/on boarding and client management.
Proven experience in a similar Compliance onboarding role either for a FX firm, consumer lending business or retail bank preferred
Demonstrate superior analytical skills, alongside advanced problem-solving;
Be able to build trusting and collaborative relationships across the Business;
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Have meticulous attention to detail;
Demonstrate strong IT skills, including Internet and email, computers, word processing, and spreadsheets;
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills.
