AVP/VP Listed Derivatives (Job Ref:5942)

THE COMPANY:

 

Our client is a leading investment bank. They are a market leader with a global reach.

 

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Coverage of listed derivatives related sales and trading activity Institutional Securities Division in Europe
  • Provide real time advisory support to the listed derivatives business unit
  • Involvement in developing policy as it pertains to listed derivatives; including the education and training of business unit personnel
  • Primarily responsible for the execution and management of the team’s desk review and test check activities
  • Support the implementation and rollout of listed derivative related projects
  • Work closely with individuals within Sales and Trading; Operations and IT
  • First point of contact for the various derivative exchanges
  • Work closely with other professionals in the Legal & Compliance Department; both within EMEA and globally

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

  • University graduate or equivalent and/or professionally qualified, e.g. in law or accountancy, with experience working in Compliance within the financial services industry
  • Previous regulatory experience within an investment bank; preferably within a sales and trading environment or at a derivatives exchange
  • Sound derivatives experience; with a focus on listed derivatives
  • Familiarity with European; specifically UK compliance issues and relevant law and regulation
