Onboarding and CDD Associate

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a well-regarded London based financial institution.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the initial and customer due diligence for relevant business relationships.
• Accurately perform all itemised tasks in the on-boarding procedures.
• Conduct screening and escalate concerns to
• Maintain clear, complete and consistent audit trails for review –
• Contribute to the drafting, reviewing and modifying of departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in the identification of appropriate on-boarding solutions for company initiatives
• Participate in the coordination and completion of the annual due diligence programme
• Participate in the coordination and completion of the annual periodic risk review
• Ensure all the day-to-day screening tasks have been accurately and diligently closed out
• Assist with the creation of MI.
• Any additional tasks

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Working knowledge of UK AML requirements is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in a UK financial services setting and experience of onboarding/CDD.
• Experience in an exchange/clearing house/derivatives trading/commodity trading setting highly desirable but not essential.
• Understanding of risk factors such as international sanctions and PEPs.
• Experience in using screening tools.
• Experience of KYC management systems also highly desirable.
• This role would suit someone who is early on in their KYC/CDD experience and keen to build on it in a small team
