Compliance Officer (12 months mat cover)

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading bank, offering a comprehensive range of banking services, including corporate and private banking

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The assist the Head of Compliance
• Preparing returns for the bank
• Compliance monitoring and testing duties
• Preparing SMF applications under the SMCR
• Carrying out regulatory impact assessments as and when required.

EXPERIENCE REQURIED:

• Relevant Compliance experience in banking in a regulatory or compliance monitoring function
• Educated to degree level, ideally with a legal or compliance qualification ( or equivalent)
• Strong experience in compliance monitoring and testing
• Strong interest in compliance work
• Ability to work effectively and supportively within a team.
• Good attention to detail
